Cash ISA Easy access - Does the rate actually increase ?

I noticed this first thing today, as I was planning to transfer out my £80K Paragon ISA to a Virgin easy access ISA paying 2.25% (so no triple access silliness). Prior to this Paragon were offering 1.90% for their Triple Access ISA (a slight increase from their previous 1.85%), so they were far from the best rate around, and my worst ISA rate.

We can hope the sudden disappearance means they will be releasing a new ISA in the next day or two with a much better rate, or my money (and I am sure a few others) will find a new home. I know they won't lose any sleep over losing my ISA. So, I won't lose any sleep transferring it to a larger institution with a better rate, and better access! I will be keeping an eye on their website this week to see if/what they release...

They have also stopped offering the non-ISA equivalent of the triple access ISA, and their current Easy access ISA and non-ISA are both 1.00%, so I am guessing something will change...

I have a Virgin Double take issue 11 at a 0.41% , I'll have to look elsewhere, it hasn't gone up, it went down sometime ago
