funny lol thanks
i think i said enough in the last post , im not going even bother to respond to that.
i will say that, they are advertising a next day delivery service that includes weekends, they have not delivered on that promise. if they had delivered on the promise i would not be here complaining. it is not acceptable to offer something and have no intention of delivering it.0 -
Again. Its called next day,not a next day service.martinjohn said:funny lol thanks

Unless you want to argue RM 1st class is a next day service.0 -
We send a lot of evri parcels. Not my choice I have to say. Where and when you drop off can make a difference. Our usual drop off locations have their pick ups about 3pm but it varies from town to town and shop to shop. If you drop at a inpost locker there have been some days delay in pickups for us esp over the recent bank holiday weekend. I would not be brave enough to use their lableless option.0

I would rather pay double then to use Evri1

Unfortunately most buyers won't, they just see the end price. Luckily for me as a seller my items tend to be cheaper sent RM due to the £2.85 2nd class parcel rate.IftiBashir said:I would rather pay double then to use EvriI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. evri describe it as "Take your parcel to one of our ParcelShops by midday to have it delivered the next day."custardy said:

it does not say we *should* deliver it the next day, or we may deliver it next day in most cases or 99% Of the time even. it seems like they are promising it will be delivered.
sorry i see no difference between "next day" and "next day service" you are referring to? am i missing something in semantics,,,?
next day would be expected by joe bloggs to mean ehh wait for it....... next day. seems very misleading. they are making claims which they seem to not be meeting.
They should call it Standard (or priority) vs economy service, if they in fact do not deliver next day in many circumstances.
RM do not use the term "next day service" anywhere in regards to 1st class.

What RM use is moot. You didnt buy from RM. Nor is RM a courier. However, is this the next day RM dont mention 'anywhere'?
Since you raise RM as a measure in clarity. You may with to peruse why they use the terms 24 & 48 on RMs parcel & tracked services?
Why would they use that?
you may say its misleading. You think Evris next day service is equivalent to RMs Special delivery service and not 1st class as they state it is?
You bought on a price without doing basic checks on what you bought.
As for bringing up the dictionary term. lol. Shall we discuss what is the definition of a word vs a product/service name?
By your thought process. I should certainly be asking Red Bull why I cant fly.
