Hi
If you drop off an evri "next day" parcel after the 12 noon cut off, does that mean that it will get there a day later than it would of if it was posted before noon?
i.e. before noon post monday gets there tuesday
after noon, post monday gets there wednesday

If you ask people you will get people saying there's arrived next day or five days.
the 12pm cut off across the board is a generalisation really. There will be drop off points that get cleared later in the day, and some who wont get cleared at all.
Plus network and connections etc come into play1 -
well it was posted on Friday after 12, and only got there just now (tuesday), so definitely not next day IMO especially as their next day service is suppose to include weekend days...
also to add insult to injury they delivered into a full recycling bin! i am not sure whether this is good practise?
ALso does anyone know if these lovely people at evri card the customer when they leave the item in a "safe place"?
obvs there is no one to ask with evri - do they even have an email?0 -

You dont get customer service services at the lower end.
The reasons RM is closing/reducing hours their CSP offices is cost.
The safeplace maybe the customers proffered place. You used a service that pays its staff for deliveries, not attempts. So they are incentivised to get rid of the items.0 -

I am sitll unsure if any of the above are normal service?
are they suppose to put a card through the persons letterbox ive sent it to, or do i need to inform them that their parcel is in their recycling bin?
UPDATE: just rang the customer services, i wish i had not bothered.0 -

You posted after acceptance time on a Friday for a service thats aligned to RM 1st class (but didnt actually look at what the service was)
The next day service may include weekends. However I would bet the network is not running at full steam on that weekend. So for the service you bought and when you sent it. Tuesday fits into that service IMO
Have you never had a Hermes delivery? They give delivery/safeplace options. My recycling bin is one of those places for my regular driver.
They also IME leave a card.
Then you talk of how hard it is to contact customer services? This is no secret. CS costs money.
I assume you bought Evri on price?
I suggest in future you ensure you are buying the service you want rather than questioning after the fact.
