need help compiling defence for county court business centre claim

    i have been told by BWLegal that I have to send defence and claim form to BWLegal by post.

    No it isn't.
    You are sending your Defence to them as a courtesy.
    You have no obligation to send the Claimant a copy of your Defence.
    The only reason that you are sending them a copy of your Defence is that some Claimants, or their solicitors, later claim not to have seen it. That in itself isn't your problem as it is the CCBC's job to send a copy of your Defence to the Claimant.

    I have read and interpreted your reply as a definitive answer.
    I tried 3 different email addresses, all undeliverable, including one given to me by a telephone representative at BWLegal.
    The second telephone representative I spoke to said I should send my defense and filled out claim form to them by post.
    I hope this information/experience is of help.

    What 'filled out claim form' are you trying to send them?

    I am in the process of filling out form N180. At question E1 when requesting a county court location, I would like to request a court close to my home address.
     Is it appropriate to site a case management directive ?
     for example;  CPR 26.2A (3)
