If we are talking gas then there was a known issue 2 years ago with the volume to kWh conversion with some communications hubs. The communications hub contains a gas proxy meter which carries out this conversion.millie said:

Hildebrand, the owner of BRIGHT app uses DCC-approved secure software (an Adapter) to connect to the DCC Network.
Contact support@glowmarkt.com and apprise them of the issue. They know which communications hubs have issues.
