Advice on new boiler - Valliant or Worcester bosch

Vaillant also have a proprietary ebus (as does Viessmann) - but I don't know if that is used in the ecoTEC Pro. https://www.vaillant.co.uk/for-installers/products/controls-and-thermostats/why-vaillant-controls/deano2099 said:WB don't have OpenTherm but use their own proprietary system. If you're going to use to WB controls that's not an issue, if you're planning on getting a smart thermostat at some point (Hive, Tado, etc.) then the Valliant may be better (assuming it has OpenTherm).0 -
I have had Vaillant for over 16 years. I replaced the old one in April and my new one is 825 Ecotec. I have had good experience throughout.michaelgordon said:ive had quotes for a new boiler and have got dow to two. Both roughly the same price both with 10 year warranty but i know nothing about boilers and googling isnt really helping.
Does anyone have any opinions. Valliant is the ecotech pro and the worcester bosch is the greenstar 20000
