Shell broadband account credit

Used an MSE link a couple of months ago to get fibre. I knew I should have taken a screen shot and I have written the info down somewhere but like it says on the current deals there was an account credit due (I think £80) with a certain time frame. This hasn’t materialised and there’s no info about it on any correspondence. I would have never taken it if not for this incentive and now being told this is an MSE issue not theirs? Has any else had any issues. We’ve just had a week with Wi-Fi at home and am completely fed up with their service. If we don’t receive this credit it will only add to the agony! Hopefully it’s an oversight but I know that it’ll be lost somewhere. It always is!!

I took advantage of a similar link a couple of years ago. There was a long gap between the service starting, and the credit being applied to my account. Circa three months iirc.
I didn't have any service issues with them as such, but be warned that they are very fussy about the router being sent back at the end of the contract. In fact, even thought I followed the instructions perfectly, they still charged me. I had to call their support and get the charge rescinded.1 -
Nightmare. Already had two months refund due to poor service. Noticed about the router return and they haven’t mentioned so will chase. More concerned there won’t be the £80 credit and that they told me to contact MSR instead of reassuring that it will happen!0

It's literally the only BB supplier that have asked for the router back, and I must have had up to ten various suppliers. Obviously there is a value of sorts to them, but once the postage is paid, and money is spent sorting, reconditioning and turning them around you have to wonder if it is worth it. Sort of felt like a ruse to charge the penalty, probably get away with quite a few.1

Shell Energy broadband are terrible. They changed the terms of my fixed price 1 year contract to increase the cost. When I complained they said that if I didn’t like it I could leave.0

Hope they do that to me!0

I had my promotional discount automatically applied about 6 weeks after the start of the service0
