Will it be cheaper to boil a kettle on my lpg gas cooker or electric ? I live on a narrow boat so we cannot have mains gas.

I live on a narrow boat so we cannot have mains gas.If you're buying 47kg LPG bottle refills (the really big ones) for £80-ish then LPG is cheaper than mains electricity.For 13kg bottles, it will depend on your supplier but at Calor's list price of £50-ish gas or electric are pretty similar prices, but an electric kettle is more efficient.The smaller 6kg bottles are generally more expensive than electricity.
