If the "they" who are offering full credit is Wowcher, why not take it then use it to purchase or put towards something other than a massage with the original company?0

Wowcher have done what is required. Supply a voucher. Fact it does not work is not the point of the chargeback.
This is why your rights when using these 3rd party companies are greatly reduced.
At best as OP has now advised is get a credit on the Wowcher account. Not the money back in your bank account. As wowcher are doing it as a gesture of good will, nothing else.Life in the slow lane1 -
Thank you for the responses.
Just to clarify.
The massages are with Bannatynes gym. It is wowcher who have offered full credit.
I have not been able to get past wowcher booking stage to even book with Bannatynes and for some strange reason they do not know how to resolve it.
When going to the bookinh section, it says there is an error but it has not been fixed despite me speaking to 7 different advisors.
Very strange.0 -

Many thanks
there is a temporary issue that they are attempting to resolve.
any offers are goodwill gestures.0 -
Take the full credit offered. You have no rights to any more than that.1

use the credit to buy a new voucher which will probably work.
It is the original voucher that is the problem.
Or buy a voucher for something else.

wowcher have NOT done what was required in providing a working voucher.
the voucher is faulty.
something doesn’t work is not the point of the chargeback???
huh??
chargeback IS for faulty goods, need a link?
there may be an issue with timescales though although ultimately it’s up to visa.
I’ve had claims go through without much inspection and they’ve not been appealed.1 -

You have a right to disagree. All I can say is, this is how it is handled by the teams that deal with these disputes.
Do Wowcher run the booking process? As that would imply that they have access to Bannatynes internal booking systems. More More likely that Wowcher site passes you on to Bannatynes website for the booking.Life in the slow lane1 -
You would normally book with whoever was supplying what you are buying and claim credit for the voucher.amount.
In this case book on Ballantyne's website. But there was a problem and the voucher did not work with Ballantyne's booking system.
Woucher have given a credit to replace the faulty voucher so the OP can buy another for Ballantyne's or for something else.
