Adding this in here as it may affect some people due to receive benefit payments on Tuesday or Wednesday.
The DWP tweeted on Friday that people who are due to receive payments on Tuesday or Wednesday "will be paid throughout the day of their expected payment date". This suggests to me that the Bank Holiday may have disrupted how benefits are credited to accounts beyond Monday. It also suggests that payments may be made via the Faster Payments system rather than BACS and so will be credited to bank accounts during DWP office hours.
