Virgin credit card.

a big hats off to virgin credit card for good customer service :D
i had my second child on the 15th of april, about this time our virgin credit card statement obviously came and was lost and forgotten,we knew nothing about it until we got the next statement along with an added note saying it hadnt been paid last month so double payment to be made.we made this payment straight away cursing ourselves about the late charge.
a few weeks later we rang to enquire if we transfer another balance to them would it still be at 0%(we are 2 months into 9 month 0% offer) where we were informed we were no longer getting 0% as it states in their t+c you lose that if you miss or are late with a payment...but we were given a number to ring.
husband rang and explained and they re introduced the 0%,backdated it so we pay no interest on the month or so already gone and refunded us the late fee!!!
all totally unexpected.....when hubby rang we were basically expecting to get told no chance of getting 0% back and were ready to say well in that case our next phone call will be to barclays to transfer it all to them for 5.9% life of balance so they really made our day.
thanks virgin :T :j :T :j :T

Had a similar experience with them.

They messed up the original BT instruction and prolonged the application process but recovered well by reviewing - refunding interest charged, increasing credit limit and also extending the 0% period to 12 months!

MBNA (who provide the Virgin card) have a great Customer Services (Customer Satisfaction, as they call it) department. When I worked at Abbey (they do that card too) they were always fantastic and it appeared that they really cared about the customer.
