Does this mean I lack capacity with finances. Would this mean I get maximum points on PIP with me not being able to manage money?

According to a previous thread you already claim Enhanced for both parts of PIP. See thread. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6326147/unsure-how-much-money-i-get-in-benefits/p1 therefore, nothing changes. A minimium of 12 points for each part, is maximum award so no further points are needed.

  • Somethings not quite right when someone like me has a credit score of 969 out of 999 and pays his bills yet lacks capacity. Yet people I know similar to me in the group home miss paying their bills, thousands in debt yet they have capacity. And people wonder why I’m paranoid and peed off

Now I have a deputyship which means its gone to court and they ruled I lack capacity with my finances. This is the final stage.

If the deputy tries and takes my credit lines away I am 100% maxing everything out. The 5k I have in credit on my credit cards I’m transferring that on my debit card, asking for a increase on my overdraft, maxing them all out by going to Sri Lanka for 3 months. And I won’t tell them I’m in Sri Lanka until I get there. I’m sick of being treated like a !!!!!!.

     This proves you lack capacity.

Have fun in Sri Lanka. You realise there is civil unrest, blackouts and shortages of fuel and food there atm?

Safe to Travel there now. I was there in March and they had problems but nowhere near bad as the media said.

I have Sri lankan family living in columbo who tell me otherwise. Protest dying but shortages not

But do you not think the bit I highlighted shows some lack of capacity around finances?

Well how can you transfer 5k from credit card to debit? You would need a money transfer card for that.

Do the people that help you know your going to Sri Lanka already?

They know I have it booked for Feb 2023 and they are fine with me going unless I have. a MH health relapse. I'm not going to do anything to jeopardise my credit score even though I think they are going to take all my credit cards and overdraft off me. I have a meeting with the deputy and supported living manger to discuss this next Wednesday.

You do know credit score is a load of rubbish. It's made up number to try and sell you products to improve fake score. Have you noticed every credit reference agency has different score for the same data.

What you suggest doing will be on your credit record that you've maxed out your OD and done a cash transfer. Both don't look good when you apply for further credit

going to Sri Lanka for 3 months.

I know you're claiming a means tested benefit but can't quite remember which one... Income Related ESA perhaps? Are you aware that you can only go abroad for a maximum of 1 month? Any longer than this and your ESA will end.
