Please stop calling this a parking fine, it is no such thing.

    Did you receive any documents?
     if not why not?

Paying it off will/may ( depending upon the timings) result in it remaining on your credit file, and having a negative effect for the next 6 years , so again depending upon the timings you need to look at getting it set aside- this will depend upon why / if you didn't receive any documentation.

Whos car park was it? and do you know why the vehicle received a parking charge notice
I didn’t receive any documents because I was pretty much homeless at the time. The address my car is registered too was my parents but I didn’t attend the address and have no connection with them.

This was 2021 so the time has passed for me to pay it in time to avoid the CCJ. So I believe I am aiming to get it set aside.

The car park was dominos pizza and it is ran by parking eye. Apparently I was there longer than I should have been. I remember it well as dominos got my order wrong and had to redo it hence why I was there a little longer. I don’t know times or how long over I was.

From the newbie thread I believe it suggests I email parking eye to request SARS. To get all the information.

Thank you for your response :)

You do need to obtain the correct dates so you can successfully apply for a set-aside but you do it by submitting a SAR - you don't want SARS, believe me!  Also banks are normally one day behind with their dates if you paid by debit card by which I mean if you used your card on the second day of the month it would show as the money leaving your account on the third day of that month.

Thank you I have now sent of the Sar. The transaction date is 22nd and came out my bank on 24th May. Hopefully the sar will give me more information.

From borderline being homeless and needing a good credit to get a home this is incredibly stressful and scary.
