Personally, I hope they don't move people who "fixed" wholesale onto SVT (even if they could) as I think my Eon V12 will still be cheaper than a £2500 cap (?) Luckily it will have only cost me about £40 over SVT by 1st October.
But the problem will be that those who fixed more recently, on very expensive fixes, may lose out if they don't proactively cancel and ask to go back on SVT.
Those who've sat on their hands throughout the whole thing will actually end up having "done the right thing" by default, in hindsight.😉How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0 -

Just a thought
Not many seem to be grasping this point. They are too busy playing the 'ha ha you fixed, live with it' card.
'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -

it's stop complaining like a teenager that life isn't fair and that you deserve help. yes it sucks (everything about the last few months sucks) and yes ti would be good if the government help but you made a decision with the info available the same as everyone else. accept that it might have been the wrong decision and if you get help then that's great.Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?
Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.0
