That would depend on what rates you were offered on a fix. At present there are no fixes lower than SVT under the price cap. But with the market in turmoil, you don't want to be locked into a fix now at any price, unless it were lower than SVT. Which it won't be.katie13127 said:

Echoing this, but just to add don't agree to a fixed tariff. You are entitled to join the standard variable rate.No free lunch, and no free laptop
