Where do you hang towels between uses?

My bathroom is downstairs (an extension - house would originally have had an outside loo and baths would have been taken in a tin one downstairs) so things don't dry very well there in cold weather. The banister isn't an option because it's fixed directly to the wall with no gap and there's only one steep flight of stairs, so no landing banister at all. In between uses I hang my bath towel on a skirt hanger, the sort with built-in "pegs", on the back of my bedroom door. It stretches it out better than a hook so allows air to circulate. Such heat as there is rises up from downstairs and the room is well ventilated so it works well.Life is mainly froth and bubble

I usually hang it out to dry on the clothes line outside so as to keep the moisture in the house down. In the winter this is not always possible to do immediately after I have used the towel, so often in winter I have to hang it in an outhouse (well ventilated) until there is a dry day to hang it on the clothes line.

I use a hook on the back of the bathroom door. It's just me now but always shared a towel with my husband.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

Bathroom, stand in the bedroom or outside. I can't abide towels on banisters; it damages the wood, makes the house damp and looks awful. Each to their own though, and it comes down to space.0

I live alone & have hooks on the bathroom door & a radiator but I’ve always just slung the towel over the shower screen on the bath. It’s the most out of the way & always dries quickly.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0

I have something similar to this which fits nicely over the bathroom radiator.

If I had no spare wall I would put a rail on the bathroom door like this: OK, not a lot for a family but it might go a bit towards helping.
