My sellers asked for nothing for the oil in the tank, which they said they'd filled up before moving out the previous year.... except they forgot they left the heating on, so barely a drip left when I moved

All I can add is that any agreement in place when a person moves out finishes at that stage. If the gas has not been paid for then perhaps a discussion may be had with the LPG firm and the new owner/occupier, but that would generally not include the person who has just left.0

They have said on the contents form they require payment but given no clue as to how much Gas they'd be roughly or what they'd charge. It's there holiday home so they should have an idea of how much they'd use between now and the end of the season , when it's likely we'll complete, as they've had it 10 years. If I don't think the price is reasonable I'll just refuse to buy. I'll watch out for it being added to the house sale for stamp duty.drsquirrel said:Sorting_Hat said:All I can add is that any agreement in place when a person moves out finishes at that stage.
