Take o2 small claims

Hi I want to take o2 to small claims but want to know others experience or suggestions.
15th August I upgraded from sim only to o2 refresh plans which was £28.99 for the tariff and £12.20 for the device 36 month contract.
These upgrades were on all 5 numbers I have had with o2 for last 6 years.
Those not familiar with o2 refresh plan It's a contact with 2 monthly one for tariff and for device  but it states if you pay off the device plan then you can uograde again.
Here is some info on device it was iphone 13 Pro max.
They gave me discount of £620 on each device and £439 to pay over 36 months which is £12.20 per month.
I decided I pay the device off then go back to sim only.
But when I paid and called the upgraded team they said I can upgrade since I have paid off the device and they happy to give  me same deal again which I took it because it was bargain.
Now after a week my account is under investigation by fraud team and all my numbers have been barred incoming and out going calls  but I have not broken any terms or conditions of o2 at any time.
I only took deals they offered even have letters from o2 clearly stating I have paid off the device and can upgrade to new device.

  • So you now have 10 iPhone 13's?

I've taken a similar deal with O2 whereby a phone is offered at a hefty discount if taken with a (separate) airtime contract. Paid off the phone immediately and cancelled the airtime. Did all this in 2 days, all I got was a few sighs from O2 shop staff. Saved me a hundred quid on full purchase price of phone.

They might take a different view of someone doing something similar with 5 (10?) iPhones w/ RRP somewhere north of a grand each, can't see how it's fraud unless the credit application was less than kosher.

You've tripped a fraud flag doing the two upgrades, once the fraud team have looked at it your account will be released.

All the networks cover themselves in their T&C's with regard to investigating fraud, trying to take them to the small claims court will get you nowhere.
