NCP PCN issued after 5 weeks

    The email included my name, me stating that i parked and incorrectly entered wrong registration and seeing if that was grounds to have the PCN cancelled. Sent before deciding to do even a bit of research :(

    Essentially chopped all my toes off most likely lol.

    I agree.  In our experience, most PPCs are stupid and money-obsessed enough to never check anything and wouldn't join up the dots.
    PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Had already appealed before the latest comments. Appeal was successful and they didn't even charge the £20 admin fee. Thanks all happy days :)

    Maybe they took the pragmatic view that you'd already paid for parking so just wrote off the PCN as they'd received the parking fees anyway. (Other PPCs who "manage" parking for landowners are unlikely to be as pragmatic, as their whole business model is based around PCNs).
