Easy jet flight cancellation

I was due fly to Egypt on the 4th of June 2022, me and 2 other families that were travelling had checked it and 50 mins before our flight it came on the screen cancelled, this was at Manchester Airport, there was no staff there to tell us what to do next and we couldn't get through to the phone number. We phoned our travel agents who we booked through and they didn't get confirmation of the cancellation from easy jet until after 16:00 that day, our flight got cancelled at 12.10pm and we were supposed to fly at 13:00.
I filled in the compensation form on the same day and got my reply saying I would get my response within 28days, I heard nothing after the 28days. I have tried sending emails and asking the travel agents to chase it up fir and still no luck. I then submitted another claim on the 28th July to which they responded back saying my claim is being reviewed under my 1st claim reference. Kindly wait for response from the relevant team. As payment has been processed and my claim is now closed. Only ive still not heard anything from anyone yet and I've not recieved my compensation either. The 2 other families I was travelling with have both received their compensation. What else can I do as its been nearly 3 month since my holiday was cancelled and I put in my claim?

This has also happened to me after a last minute EasyJet cancellation of a flight to Egypt from Manchester in June. I had to chase very hard to get them to confirm the claim was accepted (after an initial attempt to weasel out of it) but not seen the money after a four-month merry-go-round. Ring their customer services (you'll speak to a different person in South Africa or India each time), take notes of the conversations and also email their so-called resolution support (resolution.support.m@easyjet.com). If they still fail to pay put in a complaint with the Aviation ADR (takes up to 90 days to get a response). That's where I'm at and I will be taking legal action and enforcement in due course if the money doesn't drop. EasyJet are a disgrace but don't let them get away with their tried and trusted tactic of wearing you down. Good luck!0
