If you wait till 30/09, you'll receive a bigger payment, as you'll have generated another month's worth, but over a year it will make no difference. I usually submit mine at about the same date each quarter, so that I get 4 regular payments every year - every 3 months.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Competition Time, Site Feedback and Marriage, Relationships and Families boards. There will be no increase in the rate you get if that's what you mean.2

The FIT payments will not be affected by the impending price hikes on electricity supply.Krakkkers said:There will be no increase in the rate you get if that's what you mean.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Competition Time, Site Feedback and Marriage, Relationships and Families boards. Thanks all, just wondering why it’s “really important” they get it by 30/90

Under your feed in tariff agreement you have to submit a reading every 3 months, been that way for me for the last 11 years with
b gas.1 -
I’ve got no issue with submitting reading at all.
i think I made a fiticious link between their “really important” comment and the price rise on 1/10.
cheers all, can always be relied on for sensible thoughts0 -
You will get your FIT rise in April.1

It's important because if you don't submit the reading in that window you won't get another chance until December, and won't get paid.I usually submit my readings towards the end of the window, just to get paid for them now rather than in three months time.N. I had the same email, it explains why its important further down the email:
About your payment.
As long as we get your reading by 30 September, we'll pay you in the usual way. Don't worry if you miss the window, we'll add this to your next quarterly FiT payment.
Personally I always submit mine on the 6th, so that each payment is for 3 calendar months of solar generation and is paid promptly.1 -
I’ve got a calendar but I find it easier to do things straight away rather than having lots on the to do list.0
