Has this happened to anyone else? It's happened to quite a few people. We've had a particularly sunny year and lucky folks with optimally-aligned solar panels have been able to generate more electricity than Ofgem's model thinks they are capable of.N. FIT readings are a really weird one.gefnew said:With fit they have to check your meter every two years so they know your not trying it on.
Some are done regularly every 2 to 3 months.
Others never.
Been to countless places who have said they have never had anyone check it in 10 to 12 years.
Just like normal gas and electric, we only go where the suppliers ask us to.0 -
I don't understand why this happens but it probably does more than we read both meters.gefnew said:Strangely a man from Morrison data turned up at the house yesterday to look at my gas meter only not any other meters.
We only read what the supplier asks, and if they only want gas then that's all we read.
Some suppliers we may even end up going next day or two, for the other meter!!!!0
