If anyone's interested, I've just checked my EDF account online and it now shows their October 22 rates for Economy 7 in the My Tariff section. For East Midlands the rates are 65.16p/kWh day (up from 35.28p/kWh) and 24.75p/kWh night (up from 13.40p/kWh). The daily standing charge increase from 44.84p/day to 45.86p/day.

Looks like they have not done any changes to the difference between day and night rates. Both rates have been increase by 84.7%.

Would be interesting to see another region to see if the increase for day and night percentage is the same. I assume there will be a slight difference in overall increase depending on region.0 -

Could you edit your post to add your region to that as well to make it more useful for others? (Go to the top right hand side of your post and click on the little gear-wheel icon - "edit" should pop up as an option.)N_Pars said:Rates I got from EDF today

Pic below is E7 Standard variable rate from EDF North Wales / Mersey region.I managed to get a 2 year fix from EDF back in May so may actual rates are: Day 41.67p per kWh, Night 21.92p per kWh, Standing Charge 47.66p per day.

Also in Eastern region, quoted different prices from EDF. I'm guessing its to do with different payment types.littleteapot said:And now rates for Eastern region too from EDF:Unit rateDay rate: 64.44p

I thought about putting this in a new thread called "strange but true"I've just checked my EDF account online and it now shows their October 22 rates for Economy 7 in the My Tariff section. For East Midlands the rates are 47.31p/kWh day (up from 35.28p/kWh) and 6.90p/kWh night (down from 13.40p/kWh). The daily standing charge increases from 44.84p/day to 45.86p/day.So the night rate is actually substantially lower than April. I haven't crunched the numbers, but this could be because the day rate is higher than I would have expected based on pro-rata'ing the EPG average rate for a single tariff.Thoughts anyone?0
