Parking Eye PCN for overstay at Villiers Road Lidl Southampton

Hello all,
I have recently been the lucky recipient of a PCN for an overstay at the Lidl's car park in Shirley, Southampton where we parked to charge our car and do some shopping whilst there, although we didn't actually buy much in the end! The issue date for the PCN is the 25/08 for parking on the 20/08.
There is another post about a PCN from this site where they managed to successfully appeal the ticket as they had receipts for 2 or 3 shops on the same day during Covid. My issue is different in that we parked mainly to charge, but also to use the shop whilst there. I do not recall seeing anything on the sign that the chargers were for Lidl shoppers only, we also had to pay to charge so we presumed (wrongly it seems) that these would be treated separately especially as the parking is free when not using a charger.
I intend to follow the newbie guide, despite the appeal to the landowner being fruitless in the last persons case, however has anyone come across this situation before whilst using a separate facility on site.
If it matters they also have my name wrong on the PCN, they have used my middle name as my surname and they have different dates of issue in different parts of the letter!
Thanks for any help!

Complain to the store manager and/or CEO.
If that fails, send the appeal template in blue text from the NEWBIES. Add a one liner that the vehicle was "refuelling" (charging) in an electrical charging bay and was therefore not parked.I married my cousin. And add your receipt too.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for the help both.
I would if I kept receipts, I only keep them for high value items these days and mainly because they are emailed to me!

You will have your charging receipt.2

Hadn't thought of that one, however it's not really a receipt as such but the app does show I was charging at that site at those times.0

Thank you, useful to know. I have emailed Lidl's although don't hold out any hope that way. I don't seem to be able to find a direct email to their manager and although I do go to Southampton fairly regularly I won't be there for a good few weeks yet so will be emailing my 'appeal' to Parking Eye as well.0

Or better still, appeal using ParkingEye's appeal portal.
As for an email address, have a look at !!!!!! and send your complaint to the UK's head of the company. Include the PCN number, VRM, store location, and a copy of any receipt even if it wasn't one from the day or location in question to show you used to be a loyal/regular customer.I married my cousin. With proof of charging and stating that you also shopped in Lidl. Did you spend over £30?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have now completed the form online with the template and added a passage about charging whilst there. I added proof of the charge and a redacted bank statement showing I was a customer.
