I just don't want to to make the house owner upset one day when they see this page.Woolsery said:cherry2017 said:Thanks, I think it is better delete the link of rightmove, as this is not good for the owner of the house. The owner is getting extra publicity for a perfectly good house and it was you who left me enough clues to find it!But as it's bothering you I've deleted the link.

The link is still there (quoted post). What a beautiful garden. It certainly doesn't look as if it has suffered from a lack of sun - or love - and those trees make a lovely background for it.1

Eastbourne in Hampshire? I think it’s in SussexAlderbank said:Cherry2017, you haven't told us why you are asking about hours of sunshine?
Your English is excellent but I get the feeling that you are not native to the UK?
Weather in the UK is very diverse, perhaps the most diverse in the world, due to its unique geographical location.
Much of the time we have cloud cover which means there is almost no difference in light between sun and shadow. The number of sunshine hours varies vastly with location. Many places on the west of the British Isles have no more than 1,100 hours of sunshine a year. Some parts of the south have 1,900 and more.
This means that if that house was in Eastbourne in Hampshire it would have an average of at least 2 hours more sunshine every day than an absolutely identical house in Londonderry or Shetland!
It is not a simple north/south or east/west divide, two places on opposite sides of a valley can be in sight of each other yet have very different sunshine hours
As well as cloud we have a lot of wind, which also varies greatly. Whether you are a sunbather or a gardener, wind matters as much as sunshine. Trees don't just affect shade, they greatly affect wind as well.
I hope this is useful.

I'd be more concerned about the shared drive!Your life is too short to be unhappy 5 days a week in exchange for 2 days of freedom!0
