Painting the landing (Inc coving!)

Many thanks for the suggestions everyone, mad how it ranges from a brush (and sock, pure genius!) on a pole to full scaffolding!
In terms of where I would struggle, I think the wall opposite the banisters, in the middle.
I need to see where my ladder will get me and what the dead zones are. I have one of those collapsible ladders (inherited but actually fairly decent!) and a step ladder, which I'd like to upgrade. The blokes doing the bathroom had some commercial yellow one, was way better when I borrowed it to paint the bathroom ceiling on the weekend between their works.
The wooster one looks decent though, an upgrade on my broom handle and bolt lol.

Do ceiling and stairwell walls in same colour and save the need for cutting in, everything would be doable from stairs or landing with roller and extension pole and no need to overreach from a ladder.Play with the expectation of winning not the fear of failure. S.Clarke0

It won't be too different tbh, White, and white eith a hint so slight imperfections will only be visible (and irritating lol!) to meEldi_Dos said:Do ceiling and stairwell walls in same colour and save the need for cutting in, everything would be doable from stairs or landing with roller and extension pole and no need to overreach from a ladder.0 -
You can hire scaffold towers, and there are some designed specifically for use in a stairwell. My redecorating is/was a bit more extreme than slapping a bit of paint on the walls & ceiling. Insulating, plastering, and then painting is a bit more than I'm prepared to do from a ladder.ChilliBob said: Many thanks for the suggestions everyone, mad how it ranges from a brush (and sock, pure genius!) on a pole to full scaffolding!
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -
Yep, this is just painting, nothing more complex. We'll, that includes the prep of sanding and filling where necessary, but most of thay is easy to reach areas convently enoughm
