Screen with Envy - scam or just inefficient?

Have attempted to claim a refund for damaged and none delivered goods ordered in July 2022. Have sent numerous emails attempting a resolution. Been asked to send photographic evidence of damage on 3 occasions which I have provided. No refund has been issued. Registered with Resolver.co.uk to make a formal complaint. Each time SWE reply to Resolver with an email saying they are looking into it. (Auto reply).Their website Web Chat is "currently unavailable" and has been for weeks.Their contact phone line is "...currently down for necessary maintenance work" and has been for weeks.Their Website continues to take orders and offer discounts (currently 35% off selected items and a free duffle bag!).DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS COMPANY. They appear not to have any industry affiliation that might monitor or oversee their trading and customer service activities. Resolver cannot escalate the issue - they too have run out of options.I was eventually able to claim back funds from my credit card company but should have been able to resolve this directly with the company.

Hi, hoping someone can give me some advice please? I returned goods to screen with envy in late august with the promise of a refund. Despite numerous contacts with the company, the last 2 being unanswered, but now I know why, I still haven’t had a refund. It looks highly unlikely I will. Are there any options available to me to pursue? I paid for goods via debit card (not credit) and have since changed my bank account, can I contact my previous bank for help? thank you.0

Screen With Envy is back up and running, it was purchased by the original directors from the insolvency company CMB UK ltd. If you haven't been able to recover any monies, you might want to try contacting the insolvency company to see if they can help.
I can't belive that they have been allowed to purchase the company, inculding all of the remaining stock and assests and are trading on the same website with the same business name, just under the guise of a company called TSDES Trading Limited.
It is all so unfair for all the people that lost money from unfulfiled orders and returns.2 -

They then went into administration, effectively absolving themselves from the outstanding orders.
They then make an company, buy the name and stock back from the administrators at a discount and start up again. People have contacted the liquidators and have been told whilst immoral its completely legal.
There was a large facebook group called victims of screen with envy that has suddenly been removed, however check out the trustpilot site to see just how bad they are:

I know this is an older thread - I have just found it when searching this and other forums. It looks as if the scamming and fraud by this Screen With Envy company still continues. The company still has a website (the company address is a PO Box, and there is no phone number). We placed an order via the website on 5 Jan, and paid by credit card. No confirmation of order, no acknowledgement or payment-receipt, no notification of despatch, no delivery date or details. Website offers delivery in 1-5 days. The goods have not arrived. In the light of what I have since discovered, this is not a great surprise. The TrustPilot reviews, and the posts here and elsewhere, are damning and suggest very dodgy business practice.I have raised a dispute with our credit card company to seek a refund. We'll have to see how that proceeds.0
