However, the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread (all about ignoring this trash) begs people not to start any more new threads about DRP letters!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • I don't want to come across as hijacking this thread, but I could really, really do with some advice guys.
Received a letter from Debt Recovery Plus last week basically saying I owe them £150 for not displaying a valid parking ticket back in July at the retail park where I work (they stated they've sent correspondence to my previous address, but had paid to do a trace on me and now found me at my newer address). I didn't have any penalty notice on my car, but I know that other people have been known to remove them from other people's vehicles.
I've read the post about ignoring the letter etc, but I'm now receiving text messages stating they're tracking if I pay or not, and in honesty, I'm terrified they're going to take it further.
I appreciate it's a long winded message, but I could really do with some advice as this is now keeping me awake each night.
    Thanks in advance :-)

Just ignore them apart from responding to tell them to erase the old address.  Obviously no phoning them.

Get your employer to cancel it.

You MUST change your logbook address with the DVLA, now...urgent!

    Do not ring them
But should add you must contact the original parking firm to update the address as a change on drps system wont update the other end

Follow what is being said above.

Please do understand that DRP are a totally pointless company who are only money scammers who love sending out raw sewage in the post

Just part of the BPA's group of scammers.   FOOLS TO IGNORE

I don't want to come across as hijacking this thread,
But you did!  Just as easy to start your own thread/discussion and give us your circumstances.  It gets confusing trying to answer two posters on one thread!  Is your V5C up-to-date?  Please answer that question on your own new thread.
  • APCOA as usual up to no good.  They could still deal with it but prefer to pass the buck to their circus clowns, they being DRP ... WHO WANT A SHARE OF THE ACTION USING FAKERY.

DRP are simply a joke in this industry
Just ignore these powerless fools, don't pay them and do not contact them.
    They will vanish soon.

Who knows if APCOA will take it further ?   They are easily beaten. so come back here if you hear further

NO CONTACTING OR PAYING DRP ..... THEY ARE SIMPLY MONEY SCAMMERS

No-one should be paying an APCOA PCN.  Please read up on this and stop wasting your money!

You can ignore this one completely.

Please don't go contacting or paying the scumbags DRPLUS.  See the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread, they are wasters and are meant to be ignored.

But if you get more new PCNs, just appeal them using the NEWBIES thread template appeal, which is 100% slam dunk GUARANTEED to win v APCOA.  A keeper who doesn't say nor imply who was driving, and only appeals as registered keeper, cannot lose at POPLA stage if you simply add that "APCOA haven't used POFA wording and can't hold the keeper liable."

They never could.  Not even for the £180 quid's worth you already mistakenly paid.

The current cost of living crisis, in particular, is no time to be flushing money down the toilet by paying scams you can easily beat. APCOA are among the biggest pushovers.
I have now received this in relation to the thread? Should I do anything now?

Well, if you have a parrot you could line the cage with it. Otherwise it has no useful purpose

The 4th post of the NEWBIES thread tells you this. CST Law are the same stable as DRPlus.

Not sure why you believe that's not a debt letter to be ignored?
