I moved to Smarty from 3 about a month ago. When porting I was told I owed 3 £0.00. After porting they took my usual DD. Obviously I should have deleted my DD at my bank but will I have to chase 3 for it neck or will it be automatically refunded?

It can take a couple of billing cycles to complete the end of a mobile contract (depending on where in the cycle you port out). Don't cancel any DD yet because that needs to be active to allow any credit back to you.skycatcher said:I moved to Smarty from 3 about a month ago. When porting I was told I owed 3 £0.00. And what might happen if some idiot had subsequently cancelled the DD!flaneurs_lobster said:

Have a word with your bank, might be able to reinstate it.0

Also keep an eye on your Three account to ensure it's closed and they don't bill you and try and take more money. Getting your credit report fixed due to their error is a lot of hassle. Better to pay a bill and claim a refund unfortunately.0
