Lebara Sim Only - Wifi Calls and Data ok, but Wifi Texts have now stopped working

I took the MSE recommended deal for Sim only Lebara 3GB 1p per month for 6 months. I live in an area with zero mobile signal by any provider so Wifi calling and texting are important to me, therefore I checked the Lebara website and confirmed that Wifi calling includes data and texts over wifi. I ordered the Sim 4pm Mon 15th Aug and was all sorted and ported by lunch Wed 17th. Excellent service and all worked fine with calls, data and texts working over the home wifi (incoming and outgoing).

And then last Tues 23rd texts stopped working (in and out). Calls and data are both fine, no change. I checked the Lebara website once again and it still says wifi calling includes texts. I rebooted the home network and the phone, but no difference. And I spent a frustratingly long time with Lebara chat who are insistent that they don't offer a text service over wifi, no matter that it had actually worked for a week and their website says they offer it.  I have an iPhone 12 mini, software is uptodate (v15.6.1). 

Does anyone have any idea of what I might try please or is it a lost cause? My nearest mobile signal (3g) is 4 miles away so I can't just pop out and try the odd changed setting on the mobile network and then pop back to see if it works, and I usually only can leave home once per week.

It's a nightmare 😫😫 I think I might have to give up and go back to Vodafone. Every time I ring up they tell me "within the next 7 days" I guess they haven't started counting yet 🙈🙈

You can't expect any kind of decent support when you only pay pennies.

I tried for a month to get wifi calling working, their support are useless, suggesting I go to a store at one point. Eventually I PAC'd a number in and it started working immediately.

What does it say in your phones settings under general, about, and tap network provider, does it say "IMS status - Voice & SMS"?

Just signed up for MSE lebara deal SIM. ported a number in and got WiFi calling working today. All fine. Using a Redmi note 8.

However unable to send / receive texts on WiFi calling (when in an area with no mobile reception). 

Any ideas?
