After getting an E03 code I contacted Currys on 12th August. Some days later, I was directed to their webchat then call centre.
I was taken through some steps before being told it was faulty and that I needed to speak direct to Canon.

On Monday 20th August I called Canon and was taken through similar steps. Again, it was determined that the printer was faulty and had to be repaired.
Canon sent a form which I completed and returned. Canon then sent a sheet to print out and include when sending my printer for repair. However, no details were given of any centres I could take it to or postage options.
I asked Canon for these details and a week on, I am yet to receive a reply. It's been pretty frustrating
Should I ask Currys to replace it? Alternatively, could I contact Currys and reject the goods?
Am I able to ask my credit card company to step in and initiate a chargeback?
Am am trying to get a handle on my consumer rights here and your advice is gratefully received.

You can ask Currys to do it but they will tell you to send it to Canon, as Canon themselves have said.theGrinch said:Canon sent a form which I completed and returned. You are too late to reject the printer. It is the retailer's choice what to do but it is your right to have a fully working printer or a refund.
Don't initiate a chargeback at this stage. It would complicate things. Chargeback is when you have failed to agree with the retailer.
