Although I have Photoshop and Lightroom on my PC, I do use Faststone to initially view images as well. Have used it for years and would also recommend it.

Irfanview64 works well as a viewer if you want an alternative. Free, and quite powerful.

I use that, it works fine.

It's disabled by default in W10 🤷‍♂️ but a quick google and a registry tweak soon enabled it!

Me too - which is why I suggested it.

Also works in Windows 11

I find Faststone Image Viewer to be the best. It is really fast and has a rating system so you can easily sort your best photos. It is free.
