They did nothing via complaint and now I got omudsan involved but it will take 12 weeks for that and I may not get my money back. they taken extra 180 from me. I move out in 2 weeks also. so glad to get rid of them

They are not robbing you. You have used the energy they want to charge you.
You think they should not be able to do that because you believe that this falls under back billing rules, their special team for back billing says it is not the case. Most people in the thread said it is most likely not back billing.
If the ombudsman decides in your favour this will be due to a specific rule to protect a customer from unexpected high bills, but not because you did not use the energy they want payment for.WrongThey did charge me correctly but charging me again with different estimated reads.0 -

(quote from Which)
'Eon Next is a new sustainability-driven gas and electricity supplier in the energy market and a new part of the Eon Group.
It was set up in 2020 and says it offers customers 100% renewable electricity, transparent billing, no exit fees as well as a dedicated team of energy specialists so you get a more personal, faster and easier service.
Eon took over Npower's customers when it ceased trading in 2019. It started migrating around 2 million former Npower customers as well as 3.5 million existing Eon customers over to Eon Next in July 2020.'
My experience of Eon next has been positive - billing has been without fault coming up to a year with them. Monthly reads have been taken (via smart meter) and manual reads. I get a monthly bill and all payments are itemised correctly with the bill correctly calculated using the correct monthly reads.
Sorry I cannot be more helpful other than to ask whether you have considered going to a monthly payment system - be it fixed direct debit or variable DD (whole of bill payment)? Might be easier to keep a track of things.
I want to know why ive paid £500+ for £400 of electric but am £80 in debt
Im not bothered where my leccy comes from so long as i can afford it!Now we all know how it felt to play in the band on the Titanic...0 -

I cant GET a smart meter and i AM on monthly direct debit...

You state are not on a smart meter so how often do you send in your meter reads? I assume that from your reply that Eon Next are unable/unwilling to supply a smart meter that (I think) you have asked for?
As you are with Eon Next now, can I also assume that you have created an online account and are familiar with the information it can and does provide - bills, payments, tariff details, meter readings etc.
Without seeing specific bills ( with personal information blanked out) very hard for many to give more helpful advice.
