Has this massively inconvenient property of this website been fixed yet?
Threads certainly don't open that way still.
Is there a way to opt to reverse the order?

It's not possible to change the order in which posts are displayed, but clicking on a thread title should usually take you to the first unread post.Official MSE Forum Team member. Please report all problem posts to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Personally I don't find this to be an issue - I actually prefer posts to be in chronological order (latest last) rather than reverse order (latest first). And the jump to first unread works OK for me too.
IMHO there are far more pressing things that need looked at than this.Jenni x0 -
If this ever went to a vote then I'm saying leave it as it is.
This forum is already backwards enough as it is with the quoting system when compared to not just about every other forum but literally every other forum I've ever been on in the last 20 years or so and trust me I've been on many forums for a wide range of things, I'm not just talking about the odd one or two.
Last thing I want to be seeing is even more backwards activity where the most recent post is at the top of the page. Most recent post should be at the very end of the thread. If that's page 100 then it's page 100.0
