I’m struggling to get my husband to agree. He thinks they won’t honour the 55p cap when OFGEM cap goes above this as it’s not technically a fixed deal.bristolleedsfan said:
Can sign up for it now and have 28 days to confirm T+C before tariff changes, they will honour 55pkWh cap as long as sign up starts before they launch any higher capped version.jr5678 said:Thank you both. It's that thing of not knowing what to do for the best. If I move to it now I'll be paying higher prices than I currently am,

That’s brilliant. Do you know if I could have the elec on Agile and the gas on Tracker or is it all or nothing?0

I'm on a previous version of Tracker for gas with 11p cap which ends 17/6/23 and a previous Agile for electricity capped at 35p which ends 21/7/23.
So they do honour them for the 12 months.Barnsley, South Yorkshire

If of any help, I also switched to the tracker on Thursday to use the tracker as a cheaper 12m fix. As I don't have a smart meter yet, I couldn't go to Agile. What I'm not sure of is where in the Octopus I can actually see my daily rates? Has anyone cracked that yet?0

You can download the app on your phone and at the bottom of the Usage tab it shows the Tracker rate.
Online, details should appear at the bottom of the My Account page.
It might not all be running quite right yet if you've only switched in the last few days. you might have an Uh-oh message until they get it all sortedBarnsley, South Yorkshire

On your account page it should show you your tariff (I assume that's what you mean by daily rates? If not, I apologise for misunderstanding.)Planeteer said:If of any help, I also switched to the tracker on Thursday to use the tracker as a cheaper 12m fix. Edit: or there's https://energy.guylipman.com/sm/electracker
And https://energy.guylipman.com/sm/gastracker if you know which region you're in (A is Eastern England, that's all I know)
Edit 2: no, whoops, I briefly forgot the Guy Lipman site has uncapped rates. Customers are not charged any higher than the 55p/16p caps.0 -
