Reported posts is feedback provided?

One of my posts was moderated due to been apparently of a personal insulting nature, since I responded to another post in kind, I then reported the post I replied to expecting a unbiased moderation to then delete that post as well.

However I have heard nothing, so would like to know if its still sitting in a queue or its been decided to ignore my report?

I would have sent this query directly to staff, however the inbox isnt monitored and I see no contact forum staff button anyway.

Hi @Chrysalis - we don't usually reply to reports. We receive many reports every day and focus on dealing with them as swiftly as we can. We only reply to the reporter if we need to ask a follow-up question to clarify something.

When we take action as a result of a report, we don't discuss that with anyone other than the user involved.

The forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com inbox is definitely monitored, and is the best way to get in touch with the team if you need to.
