Why don't OFCOM place a percentage maximum limit on repeats? Some of the repeats are repeated yet again.
There isn't enough decent tv to fill the current schedule. What should they show?

Does anyone actually watch television live any more?
I do, can't afford steaming services
    Amazon prime - £79 a year
Cheapest Netflix - £83.88 per year

Very cheap in comparison to the £159 TV licence!

Tv license you still need if you have a tv
How can we be in 2022 and folks still think this?

I always find something to watch, often more than one thing. I record and use catch up services. There's not enough time to watch every programme I would enjoy. Can never understand people who complain there is nothing worth watching.

We don't watch much live tv.
We mainly record and watch later.
We'll wait for the end of a series and binge-watch all episodes, or fast forward through adverts.
We don't watch reality shows starring 'the public'.
    We don't watch 'celebrity' shows.
We like a good drama or watch films.
We don't have Sky or Netflix, we do have Amazon Prime.

I know back when I did watch broadcast TV there were plenty of adverts declaring 'if you have a TV, you need a license, we will find you using our scientifically impossible vans'. I suspect that they haven't made adverts saying 'hey, we changed the rules, watch Netflix and chill without paying us!'. The information is out there, but you need to know to look for it. It's not in any single company's interest to have the message widely spread, so no-one is paying for that message to be put out there.

A lot of pensioners watch tv I think you will find.

We live in sheltered housing and only have to pay £7.50 a year for the tv licence.

This may sound strange but I like some of the older repeats  :)

If the BBC (for example) had to provide all new content for the same budget and the same amount of hours then the quality would fall even further than it already is - we'd end up with even more cheap low-budget spun out quiz and reality shows.

Well you said you still watch live tv because you can't afford streaming services.  Now you say you stream the BBC on iPlayer.  So you know you can stream the tv you do watch whenever you want.  Therefore it's by choice that you watch live tv, if you do, not because you can't afford not to.

So watch them more often on iplayer instead of watching live tv.
