Anyone able to share what the highest estimated bill you've seen is? I'm trying to gauge just how obscene ours is, or if I just need to stop complaining.
There was someone on the news last week that got an estimate of £360,000 for the year...
    Woah... :open_mouth:

If you have space, cheaper to buy a second hand diesel generator and generate your own.

About 17 years ago a friend, since passed away, got a monthly bill for £1497 for one months usage of electric and gas the bill should have being £14.97 as his previous bill, also overestimated was £55 as far as I remember. The £1497 bill was quickly removed from his account when he contacted the supplier but not before he had downloaded a copy of the bill.
Someone please tell me what money is

Do you mean estimated bill for annual usage or by how much your energy company has overestimated a single bill you have actually received ?
