What's the highest estimate bill you've seen?

Anyone able to share what the highest estimated bill you've seen is? I'm trying to gauge just how obscene ours is, or if I just need to stop complaining.

Well that's a new take on the 'mine is bigger than yours' thread  :D

But hypothetically, if I was on the cap, I could expect to be paying over £1000pm from October. Fortunately I'm not, yet...

And in any event, why would you want to be comparing estimated bills rather than going and checking your actual usage?

Are you going to share ?
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

A friend of mine pays £250 per month now because their wife likes the place like a sauna, if it drops below 24c she's freezing, I'm guessing it's going to be well over £1000 per month come October as they are currently on a fixed rate at 3.4p/kWh for gas.

We've just moved, but I worked out what the £ would have been for our old house. It was grade 2 listed, and very difficult to heat up and keep the heat in. We were used to the cold, and bedroom was normally 15c in the winter.

If we still lived there, we'd have been paying £1500 per month on the October price cap.
  • Hi,
think some folks have misunderstood the question, it's about estimated bills, not DD amounts.

There was someone on the news last week that got an estimate of £360,000 for the year...

To be fair, I'm not sure I've fully understood my own question, so any input appreciated  :D
