I wished I`d kept a list of my switch dates. Eventually I will be able to join in again.
Always wise to keep a list to check on your eligibility but also if you fall foul of a bank (thinking Lloyds) and you end up talking to the fraud department who want to know when you opened  'such & such' account
Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

Yep, I cant remember as  have lost count, but I have had incentives from TSB, Virgin Money, RBS, Natwest, Nationwide, Lloyds, Halifax twice I think. I even got an incentive last year from Santander , £130 I think to switch into my existing account with them. I have no intention to switch or close my Santander account as it is my main current account and I actually like banking with them. I have a longstanding inactive HSBC account that I really need to close as it is stopping me getting cash from them !! Must get around to it

There's a way around not having kept a record of the date you opened an account - sites like TotallyMoney will tell you when you opened and closed all your bank accounts and credit cards. I've found this really helpful when I need to prove who I am and for figuring out when I should be eligible for switching bonuses.

Less useful for 'existing customer' switches, however. I tend to look through statements on online banking.
  • Is that merely meant to be a helpful suggestion WillPS or is the implicit negativity important to you?

It is helpful, if you switch an old account into an existing count then the account opening date will have nothing to do with the switch date.

Without adding up how much, a few switches in the past year or so. R.B.S.,Lloyds (existing customer offer), Halifax, to name three of them. The latest, NatWest to Santander. Boohoo, should have waited for the £175 offer. However, crystal ball not to hand.
I think that will be sufficient for the time being though.
How did you get switching incentive with BooHoo. it is a switching incentive or vocuher. Link will be helpful ..

Nationwide paid my switch bonus within 3 days of the switch if anyone cares, completed on the 24th, £125 in the account today. Best 52p I ever left in a savings account after it matured!

To answer the question on the title "Any serial switchers?" I could assure you there are more than you might think if you read this forum regularly.
The only thing that will stop them is they are not eligible any longer having receiving incentive in the past.
People might try their luck even they know they breach the T&C but if you have read reports people get rejected you would not to want wasting your time trying.

The problem with being an "old hand" at serial switching, T&C`s prevent previous switchers who have benefited from the pay outs participating in the new offerings. I wished I`d kept a list of my switch dates. Eventually I will be able to join in again.
All the details of every account opened/closed will be on your (free) credit report, just match up dates of each bank account.
