Grumbler kindly posted a link for email off the Barclays website which you may have missed as you didn't respond so I've repeated it below. Please keep us updated with progress, I'm dying to hear how you get on with your complaint.grumbler said:Their chat is pretty good - but for current accounts it's only in the app.For complaints they havein online banking 'Help and support'
The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -
The answer to your question is no, they do not have a “customer service” email address for personal customers (recent Ex Barclays staff).Obviously they do have various different internal email addresses relating to different functions/departments of the bank, if you do manage to get hold of one they will send you a standardised reply asking you to contact them in the ways as described in this post.1

Really?!
You asked whether anyone knew of an email address.
If I stopped you in the street and asked if you knew where the nearest bus-stop was and you didn't know what would you say?
Nothing? Would you just ignore me and walk away?
I think not. You'd say sorry I don't know.
That's what you get when you ask what is, basically, a question with a yes or no answer. You should not object to the No answers - and certainly not object to answers that say No but offer helpful advice regardless of that No..
In the case of your question the people who have replied have been going beyond saying I don't know. Because they do know enough to know that your quest is probably doomed. They've been advising you there probably isn't one (though grumbler may have found one) and, helpfully, suggesting you try other means. That is something to be grateful for - people going out of their way to help you.
