Why are you astonished
I did think when you appealed you would have indicated you were the driver
Get a copy of your appeal from ukpc please lower your expectations
And as said yesterday you will get a court claim

Get a copy of the appeal
It is nothing to get overly worried about as the county court process is easily navigated.
You really need a copy of what you said and you will get help on here to defend and hopefully they will discontinue2 -

My stress and sanity is worth more to me.I've recently moved home, which in itself has been and continues to be an utter, utter nightmare, so needless to say I can do without threats of legal action from one of these firms. If my current situation were different, I might be willing to fight it harder.0 -
and this is exactly what the scam relies upon... and so it continues
BBC WatchDog “if you are struggling with an unfair parking charge do get in touch”
Please then tell us here that you have done so.5 -
As I said previously, DCB Ltd are powerless and can safely be ignored. They cannot start a court claim. They cannot come and take your goods or clamp your car. The only thing they can lawfully do is send poor quality bog paper.
If you had a real court claim then that would be different.
Why not wait to see what you get back as a result of sending an SAR. It will contain your initial appeal from which you will be able to determine whether on not you admitted to being the driver.
Remember, parking companies tell lies, and UKPC were caught doctoring time stamps on their photo' "evidence" to make it look like motorists were parking for longer than they really were.
They may well be lying when they say you admitted to being the driver.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks4 -

I found my original appeal email, and I did imply that I was the driver of the vehicle. I did so in order to protect my partner from having to deal with the issue, and also on the basis that I honestly didn't think there'd be any issue having the PCN rescinded (considering that the car was parked in my own space).0 -
I say again, DCB Ltd are powerless and can be ignored.
If UKPC decide to issue a claim, you will get a letter of claim first, giving you 30 days to respond. Near the end of that period, you would send them a holding instruction that you deny the debt, are seeking debt advice, and require the case to be put on hold for 30 days as per court pre-action protocol.
This means you will get at least 60 days warning before a claim actually arrives from the date UKPC decided, (if they decide) to to issue a claim.
Having issued an SAR to UKPC, their response must arrive within 30 days from when they receive that request.
That means you will have a minimum of 30 days after you receive the response to the SAR before you would have to deal with a claim. That will be plenty of time to see if you did actually admit to being the driver. If you did not, then you repeat again and again and again that you were neither the driver not keeper, but you appealed because it is (was) your parking space where UKPC had no right to issue charges.
I see absolutely no point in paying a powerless debt collector at all, let alone when you are not yet in possession of all the facts.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks4
