Hi I have 2 contracts with current provider (same provider), 1 for the internet which I can cancel now no charge and 1 for the tv which their saying and early termination will cost me £167. Apparently I can’t cancel internet without triggering an automatic cancellation for the tv? It’s annoying I’ve said if I cancel the internet it’s not my fault they can’t provide tv without internet? Their practically forcing/blackmailing me to stay??? Their saying it’s in the ‘small print’ is there anything I can say/do to sort this out?

Sounds unusual but not impossible, but I'd have expected a 'joint' contract to have the same end date for both services - do you know why this isn't the case? - have you found, or asked them to show you, the relevant small print?0

Assuming this is Sky, they are separate contracts, and the minimum term may well be different, hence the different end dates for the minimum term.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
