In that thread you'll find a post by myself (about half way down the page) regarding missing posts by a forum member. Other forum members confirm the same issue. Those missing posts can be found by going to the forum member's profile page and checking their Discussion Replies, but going directly to the thread their posts are (mostly) missing.
I don't know if this issue is restricted to that forum member.

Update - I might be getting confused between two related threads with slightly different titles, both which have a similar number of posts in them. 🙄Jenni x0
