VirginMedia have billed me for Month1 and Month2 in advance. Anyone else had this?

I've recently started a new 18m broadband and phone only contract with VirginMedia. I didn't opt to have their engineer come round to install.
VirginMedia then emailed me an invoice for £95 to say that they were charging installation, the first month's bill AND also the second month's bill in advance.
Is there any way to contest this and has anyone else experienced this?
