What uses more washing machine electricity, a rapid 20 minute spin or a 90 minute normal spin?

So I'm trying to find ways to cut my electricity usage and usually twice a week I do a 90 minute normal 30° washing machine spin but there is also an option for a shorter hotter 20 minute spin however with this for spin I would put less in the drum so that it cleans properly, so I would probably do twice as many loads do…

I think over the timespan you are talking about..... couldn't you check meter reading before and after on each of cycles to see which works out cheaper. Turn off things that start up randomly such as fridge / freezer for the duration
