What uses more washing machine electricity, a rapid 20 minute spin or a 90 minute normal spin?

So I'm trying to find ways to cut my electricity usage and usually twice a week I do a 90 minute normal 30° washing machine spin but there is also an option for a shorter hotter 20 minute spin however with this for spin I would put less in the drum so that it cleans properly, so I would probably do twice as many loads
do you think doing 2X 20 minute rapid spins/washers would consume less electricity than a 90 minute slowest spin?

Hi,similar tread HERE, might give you some ideas.0

Does your washing machine's manual not say?
Can't say I've looked on our washing machine but our new dishwasher has a 50 minute quick wash and a 4 hour eco wash with the later using both less electricity and water. As we are looking at a new washer had a quick random chat with Bosch and they say its the same for then, a full load on Cottons or Eco use less power than the half capacity quick wash... ie using quick wash only would potentially double your power consumption given it halves the capacity.1 -
Most washing machine manuals will have a programme table that lists the energy used per standard load.0

Just to add, you can buy a plug adaptor you can put between the wall and your appliance, which shows the watts being drawn.
Don't get a knock-off/get a branded one (for electrical safety), but personally I think they pay for themselves quickly as you can work this sort of stuff out (machines rarely seem to draw what they say in the manual), but, more importantly, you can go round each plug overtime and realise if you have any offending appliances that draw a lot in standby (I found one appliance that took 15W when "off"!) = turning those specific ones off at the plug really add up!0 -
If this chap is anything to go by:

Then quick washes are a false economy.
Depends if you're pushed for time though.1 -
Spin speed makes very little difference to energy use.

The energy potentially saved will probably be cancelled out by the energy consumed in this thread...and there's me just used another 30 watts...No free lunch, and no free laptop0

My indesit manual shows that a 30 mins quick wash has an energy consumption of 0,2kWh so could that mean it actually consumes 0,1
Similarly, an Eco setting has an energy consumption of 1,0kWh and lasts for 3Hr40 im wondering if that is a total of 1 or is it 3.4?
Apologies if the answer is obvious.
