Evri courier deliberately not delivering 3 of my parcels this week

Please, can anyone advise me what to do to solve this problem? On 27th July, 2 Evri couriers in a big silver Audi refused to give me a receipt for collecting my parcel. I requested a photo, then, as proof, and the male courier threatened me that this was "abuse" and I would never receive another parcel from Evri. Fast forward 3 weeks. 3 parcels I have bought and paid for have suddenly not been delivered, due to problems with accessing my property. Untrue. On the third delivery, I saw a little van that parked and sat for about 3 minutes, 4 doors down on my clear cul-de-sac. Nobody got out. As this van started to turn round, I recognised the female courier from 27th July, but she was in a different vehicle. I drove after her to her next delivery 2 streets away where she refused all knowlege of my parcels. But at the precise time she was on my street, guess what? The third Evri notification of a problem with "access". I have contacted the police, because these parcels are just disappearing: Evri have not notified me of where they are or when the next delivery will be attempted. The police said it's a civil matter and I must contact Evri. I already contacted them on each occasion they wanted me to "take action" but it's a bot. I have called them but you get no further, no advisor to talk to is offered. I have contacted the company I bought the goods from. I've also arranged for a cctv to be installed as these two couriers are big younger people with aggression, and I'm a tiny pensioner. I view what the femal courier is doing as malicious intent. I feel victimised and want to see her prosecuted. Can anyone avise me please? Many thanks in advance.

Why would you need proof that you collected your parcel? Surely having the parcel shows you have the parcel? Tailing a woman in your car and stopping her really won't do any favours in terms of them saying you are abusive.

Evri couriers are self employed so they can just refuse to deliver to you and not get paid for that delivery.

I'd suggest getting a refund for the 3 parcels you don't have and not using companies that deliver via Evri in future.

There's got to more to this because if there isn't then you are going totally OTT.
Contacting the police because your parcel hasn't been delivered, really?
What's with all this malicious intent and feeling victimised? Yet you're the one that went driving round the streets after her.
You want her prosecuted, for what exactly? This is a civil matter.

OP wanted a receipt for a parcel that Evri were collecting *from* the OP, not delivering *to* the OP.  e.g. a return.  Asking for come kind of proof of receipt it reasonable given the problems people have with couriers losing returned items.

For future reference you can arrange to collect packages from your local Evri ParcelShop.  That's generally the local Co-op or similar.

If the events are as you described then there is nothing here that would interest the police or be prosecutable.   Sounds like a delivery driver just not doing their job - which isn't a crime.   Neither is being big younger people, and it doesn't sound like they're being aggressive towards you - they're doing the opposite by avoiding you.

If you don't get your deliveries then you should get refunded by the retailer.  If this keeps happening and you also complain (in writing) to DPD then it should resolve itself as it'll start costing them money.  Delivery drivers don't exactly have rock-solid job security, so one of them deliberately not doing their job properly is unlikely to last long.

Update:  Just to emphasise - your contract is with the retailer not Evri.  It should be on them to resolve the situation and either ensure the goods you have paid for are delivered or refund you.

With regards to the initial incident that started all this:
'I requested a photo, then, as proof, and the male courier threatened me that this was "abuse" '
What do you mean he "threatended me that this was abuse" ?      Saying "I don't want you take a photo of me" isn't a threat.   Saying "this is abusive" isn't a threat.    I'm also 100% certain that that kind of response wasn't solicited by someone asking "Would you mind if I took a picture of the parcel in your possession, in case the retailers claims I never handed it over".   Exactly what did you say to them?   You don't have a right to take photos of members of the public against their wish - you'll notice that when couriers take a photo of a delivered parcel they don't include the person in the frame.

Agree with what you have said, apart from the part in bold. Legally you can take a photo of anyone in a public place.

Yes, that's fair - legally you do.   Though I'd argue if they asked you not to then you should have a good reason for ignoring their wishes.

Wish I hadn't posted on here now, and I never will again. They refused to give me a receipt when they arrived to collect my parcel. They threatened that I would never again receive a parcel from Evri and that is exactly what they are now ensuring, causing me distress, so it was not an idle threat, by their actions, they are witholding my parcels, but making it look to Evri that delivery has been attempted when it was not. DIAMANDIS: She is sitting in the road to get a GPS and pretending to make an attempt at delivery, without getting out of the car! That is defrauding Evri because she will no doubt be claiming payment. TELLIT 01, you have no idea how far away I live from my 'local' collection point, but thanks for the goodwill. Rogue: they threatened that I would never have another delivery. I was asking for help. Before I met this pair, I had deliveries for 10 years from Hermes lady with no problems at all. This pair were like bull terriers with attitude. I hope none of you ever feel the way I do right now because of people like this who are not fit to work with members of the public. ERGATES: you completely misunderstand the situation.

Actually you do, although it is unlikely to go down well!

In fact you have more rights over the photograph if you don't ask the subject's permission. One you say " can I take your picture" or "would you stand over there and smile" they become a model and have some rights over the image! Very few press photos are taken with the subject's permission and in many cases are taken despite their objection!

There are certain rights available under the largely "judge made" privacy laws that can sometimes be used to restrict what can be done with the image. However realistically, like libel, that is the province of the rich and famous.

No worries, be seeing you then.
The only point I'll make is the lady sitting in the car won't get paid - they're paid per delivery.
It sounds like you've been blacklisted on their system; their system does allow this as when I used Hermes (now Evri) for my business, we had a customer who was blacklisted and we couldn't get anything to him.
