I changed/cancelled my appointment.. they couldn't make another as none were available so we will see what idiocy I get sent. 2pm on a school day isn't going to work!scarf 20 rows left... then tassels...New WM has a big bend in the waste pipe so I have to rupture my usher dragging it out full of laundry and 57L of water to get it to empty... not impressed.. and the door aperture is tiny.. and the start button it on the wrong side and it doesn't have just a spin cycle.. I might see if I can return it.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)8 -
Tax return finished. Will do a final check tomorrow then submit it and tidy away all paperwork.
Checked greenhouse, picked a few things.
Did some drum practice; haven't done any for ages and if I'm not careful the new term will start and I won't have made any progress.
Rang new lake to change booking from Wed to next week.
Mr N and I went to a new-to-us birdie venue; Walthamstow Wetlands. I was glad he offered to drive; I haven't driven in London traffic for years. We had a picnic lunch by the reservoir, saw lots of fairies plus other birds and generally had a pleasant time (although I'd rather have been swimming in it!). Mr N worked out that the last time he was there was 50yrs ago, eek, the young lady on the visitors info desk was impressed! Saw a good art exhibition there too.
Card sent to friend for Wed birthday.
Organising private assessment for later this week.
Not very fly-like but a reasonable amount achieved as well as a pleasant outing.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.11 -

Ketchup not being a smoothie, despite the perfect logic, is my absolute favourite Flylady line of all time.

Woke up in discomfort
yuk warning…
plaster had adhered to operation wound scabs and me doing my rolling around the bed thing all night, pulled them off and more blood and pain.
after 5 minutes consideration about ringing the hospital, leaving a message, pootling up there for a 2 minute plaster swap if they could fit me in, I decided to remove and replace. Done in seconds. Pain gone.
I’m up there anyway on Thursday. And judging by what I have seen I won’t be having a shower anytime soon.
and I now have some very grim pictures on my camera roll. Because I can’t actually see my wounds myself.
DW x 1
vacuum cleaner battery fully charged.
crumble mixing? You can make extra and keep it in the fridge! We had plum crumble last night.

Hi all. Late start today, didn't get out off bed till 6:05am, lie in for me! Of course I was awake half a dozen times in the night. The monitor in the little ones room is very sensitive and, to stop out being messed with, under the cot.Every time little man moves in the night i wake up! No news yet on baby's release date.
Have like for a picture of DGD1, only one i can find on the tablet is around a year old. She looks quite a bit older now. Just for pigpen, but I'll let the rest of you look too.
I made the BlackBerry pie, and cooked the rest of the blackberries for jelly jam. Made two banana breads, and with the help of some girls made12jam tarts. The clean work top is now dirty again!Right I'm of, someone's lost a balloon! Hugs.xxFrugal Living Challenge 2025.8 -

And that one looks a lot like my third one before she became he. We must be related somewhere along the way, or just both know how to produce beautiful children/grandchildren. Ha ha.
Everyone now fed, DW on again. Washing from yesterday been tumbled, it rained by the time it was washed yesterday and raining again today. The last few lambs, who had escaped into the other field, have now been treated to prevent fly strike. Smallest one is asleep, next one playing nicely with her cousins and I should really be tidying! Cup of coffee it is then, hugs, mumtoomany.xxxFrugal Living Challenge 2025.11
