  • Always ignore the IAS.

As useful to consumers as a chocolate teapot.
Yep I thought so. I'll sit tight and wait for the gladstones and if they want the court case.

I got a PCN from exactly the same spot the day before you. I have not responded to the mailings. Now I got a Court  letter which expires Jan 30th.

is it a winnable fight? Can I say it wasn’t me in the car and not offer anyone else as the driver (as suggested by some people)?
if I acknowledge receipt then that gives me 28days but is that also admitting it was me driving??

Of course it is winnable but NOT the way you are suggesting!

You absolutely do not pretend you weren't driving (contempt of court...) and you do not have a further 28 days so you need our help.

Please read the NEWBIES thread second post before starting your own new thread.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Did you follow the same process I went through above?

I went back to the place that I supposedly entered a contract for the parking charge and took a picture to collect evidence in case it went to court. You can see the size of the writing and the amount of it requires at least a few minutes to read. I don't see how this could stand up in court.... I am still waiting for the gladstones and court case, they may have given up on it but if they haven't i'm ready to fight this to the death.

  • Here is another image of it!

Look at the size of the writing! Absolutely ridiculous for them to send me a parking charge for a 1 minute stop!

As suggested above, please start a new thread as it becomes difficult to progress the issues of two or more people in a single thread. I will then offer further guidance on that new thread.
  • How did everyone get on with their complaints?

My wife got a ticket there for stopping for a minute to enter an address on the sat nav (no reception in friends car park she just parked in).

The ticket is addressed to me, am i right in thinking i could say it wasn't me then?

    Thanks!

The fact that it's above a no enter sign as well. You're never going to see it when driving.
